Job summary

You will collaborate with radiologists and staff, ensure high-quality images, and uphold patient care standards. The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, BLS, and acute-care experience with fluoroscopy and mobile imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification and state licensure are required for clinical practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• May be required to complete the MA Competency Checklist and perform the MA function in a clinic or InstaCare setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Prepare patient and verify identity and orders for exams.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review images for quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete studies within time limits; assist students and staff.
• Educate patients and ensure comfort.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Follow protocols for coding, charging, consents, QC, and report equipment failures.
