Job summary

Intermountain Health's Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver seeks a Radiologic Technologist II to perform diagnostic imaging with emphasis on safety and quality. You will work with radiologists and care teams to deliver accurate exams while maintaining patient comfort and education.

The role requires ARRT(R) certification, state license, and BLS; a hospital setting with fluoroscopy and mobile imaging experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist—ARRT(R) certification and state license are required.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• May be required to complete MA Competency Checklist and perform MA functions in a clinic or InstaCare setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, and ensures proper identification.
• Performs exams per protocol, reviews images for quality and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
• Assists and instructs students and other Radiology Techs in protocols and positioning.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort. Maintains infection control.
• Operates equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
