Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required.
• State radiologic technologist license in practice state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• May need Medical Assistant competency checklist and function in MA role in clinic or InstaCare setting.
• 1–2 years radiology experience preferred.
• IV certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency.
• Verify patient identity and prepare patient for exam.
• Perform exams per protocol and review image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines.
• Complete studies within time limits and assist/instruct students and other techs.
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort and safety.
