Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient identification and prepares patient for exam.
• Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies timely while maintaining patient care and quality; assists and instructs staff.
• Provides patient education, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and any adverse reactions.
• Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and reports equipment failures.
