Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce high-quality images across the Diagnostic Imaging department and related areas. You will verify orders, identify patients, and ensure accurate labeling while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

You’ll follow radiographic protocols, operate diverse equipment, maintain QC, and participate in continuing education and team training to support excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Radiography program.
• Associates degree and one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• Florida License in Radiography and ARRT certification required within 90 days; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality images for the Diagnostic Imaging department and related areas.
• Completes records, information, and performs electronic entry accurately.
• Identifies patients using two identifiers, verifies orders, and analyzes exam information.
• Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and proper imaging techniques.
• Follows safety guidelines, infection control, and participates in emergency procedures.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and stocked work area.
• Assists with education and orientation of new staff and students.
