Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce high quality images for the Diagnostic Imaging department and related areas. You will verify orders, identify patients, and apply proper positioning while maintaining safety and accuracy in documentation.

Applicants should have an accredited radiography program degree, Florida licensure, ARRT registration, and be willing to obtain BLS within 90 days. Part-time schedule and PRN opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
• Florida license in Radiography (ARRT registration)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of start date
• Associates degree preferred with one year of Radiologic Technologist experience

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality images for the Diagnostic Imaging department and assigned areas.
• Completes records and performs electronic entry accurately.
• Identifies patients using two identifiers and verifies orders.
• Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy and proper patient positioning for imaging studies.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area.
