Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Radiography program.
• Associates degree and one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• Florida License in Radiography; ARRT registration in Radiography (R); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality images for the Diagnostic Imaging department and other areas meeting Mayo Clinic Radiology standards.
• Completes records and performs electronic entry accurately.
• Identifies patients using two identifiers, verifies orders, and analyzes exam information.
• Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy, body habitus, and proper patient positioning for imaging studies.
• Adheres to safety and infection control guidelines and maintains a clean, stocked work area.
