Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join our weekend coverage in Wisconsin. You will operate CT equipment, position patients, and manage contrast administration under the Radiologist.

Prior radiologic technology education and licensure are required, with BLS within 6 months. The role includes a weekend Fri-Sun schedule, 700am-730pm, with holiday rotation and potential on-call in staffing emergencies.

Qualifications

• Advanced radiologic training beyond high school in an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Licensure in Wisconsin as Radiographer; RT and CT registrations, obtaining within stated timelines.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment for basic/intermediate diagnostic procedures.
• Obtain patient history and verify orders for exam accuracy.
• Position patient, select scanning parameters, and ensure image quality and safety.
• Prepare/ administer contrast media under Radiologist direction.
• Process images and document patient data and billing codes.
• Identify equipment issues and perform QA/ calibration tasks.
• Follow age-specific care guidelines and maintain clear communication with team.
