Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a casual Radiologic Technologist to support clinic, ortho and urgent care locations across Milwaukee County.

The role offers flexible, casual hours with a minimum commitment of two shifts per month, including days, evenings, and weekends as needed. You will perform radiologic procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with physicians and staff in varied settings.

Qualifications

• Radiographer license issued by the state and ARRT RT registration, plus BLS certification.
• Advanced training in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• No prior experience required.
• Strong communication and patient service skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to advanced radiologic procedures including general diagnostic, fluoroscopy, and C-arm as needed.
• Position patients and select exposure factors; ensure radiation safety and patient protection.
• Identify patients and label images; verify orders; document billing codes for procedures.
• Assist and consult with physicians; work independently within department and across facilities.
• Maintain and update patient records and radiology information system per regulations.
