Job summary

Advocate Health's AMC Grafton radiology team is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for 0 hours per week, part-time coverage providing general to advanced imaging under Radiologist supervision. The role requires 2+ years of radiology experience and Wisconsin radiographer license with ARRT RT and BLS within 6 months.

You will position patients, manage exposure factors, ensure image labeling accuracy, and maintain radiology records while collaborating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 2 years of experience in a Radiologic Technologist role.
• Wisconsin Radiographer license and ARRT RT registration; BLS within 6 months.
• Advanced knowledge of radiology positioning, safety and fluoroscopy techniques.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills; ability to work with diverse providers.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to advanced radiologic procedures as directed by Radiologist.
• Positions patients and selects exposure factors; provides radiation protection.
• Identifies patient, labels images, and ensures exam accuracy and billing codes.
• Assists, communicates and consults with Radiologists; often works with other departments.
• Maintains records in the radiology information system and supports education.
