Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Casual Radiologic Technologist to support urgent care and clinic locations in Southern Milwaukee County. This role offers first-shift, part-time hours with a minimum commitment of two shifts per month, and flexibility based on department needs.

Key responsibilities include performing radiologic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating with physicians. LIC/ARRT requirements apply, with potential weekend/holiday shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Radiographer license issued by Wisconsin and ARRT RT registration.
• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures including general diagnostic, fluoroscopy, and C-arm as assigned.
• Explains procedures to patients and gathers clinical history.
• Positions patients and selects exposure factors with proper safety.
• Identifies patients and ensures accurate labeling and documentation.
• Assists physicians and works independently across clinic/urgent care settings.
