Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform and assist in radiographic procedures with independence in technical decisions. The role requires strong anatomy knowledge, positioning skills, and equipment proficiency, under supervision of a Workflow Coordinator or Team Leader.

Eligibility includes ARRT certification, CT license within 3 months of graduation, and ongoing CEU maintenance. English fluency is required; Spanish abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must pass ARRT National Board and CT license within 3 months of graduation.
• Maintain CEUs to keep licensure current.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine radiographic procedures according to department standards and guidelines.
• Operates fluoroscopic exams including various GI and other studies.
• Delivers proper clinical patient care during diagnostic procedures.
• Critiques image quality and ensures accuracy in documentation.
• Mentors students in clinical and ethical aspects of radiology.
• Maintains stock levels and PPE for assigned stations.
• Adheres to infection control standards at all times.
• Works cooperatively as a team member to accomplish tasks.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as required.
