Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine radiographic procedures and fluoroscopic exams with independent judgment and strong knowledge of anatomy and equipment.

The role requires ARRT certification and Connecticut license or eligibility, plus BLS, and involves mentoring students and upholding infection control standards within Hartford HealthCare's regional system.

Qualifications

• Must pass the ARRT National Board and hold a CT license or receive within 3 months of graduation.
• On-going CEU maintenance to keep CT licensure current.
• Must have Basic Life Support certification upon hire and maintain competency.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine radiographic procedures according to department standards and ARRT/state guidelines.
• Exhibits proficiency in fluoroscopic exams including GI studies, ERCPs, arthrography, hysterosalpingography, urography, and C-Arm work.
• Provides proper clinical patient care during diagnostic procedures.
• Critiques and assesses image quality.
• Maintains accurate computer/documentation.
• Mentors students in clinical and ethical aspects of radiologic technology.
• Maintains stock levels and PPE for assigned stations.
• Adheres to infection control standards at all times.
• Works cooperatively as a team member to accomplish tasks.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as required.
