Job summary

The successful candidate will operate radiographic equipment, develop radiographs with proper identifiers, support ED/OR, train students, and perform QC on PACS/CR. Comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiology science is required.
• ARRT registration or eligibility is required.
• Delaware license and CPR certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment and ensure proper identification of films, dates and times.
• Develop and identify radiographs with correct patient information.
• Cover the ED, OR, Surgi Center, portable and fluoroscopy areas as needed.
• Assist with training radiology technology students and perform QC on PACS/CR/DR systems.
• Operate equipment from Philips, Siemens, Carestream and Canon.

TheChristiana HospitalImaging Department is currently recruiting for a Full Time- Radiologic Technologist.

Shift

• Evenings 3p-11:30p
• Full Time 40 hours per week.
• Every 4 th weekend evenings and every other holiday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
• Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time
• Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro
• Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
• Operating the following equipment: Phillips, Siemens, Carestream and Canon

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science
• RT Technologist experience preferred
• ARRT Registered Technologist required
• Delaware license
• Certification in CPR
• Flexibility in hours and duties is required

Hourly Pay Range: $33.43 - $53.48

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
