ChristianaCare Newark Campus Radiology Department is hiring a Full Time Flex Radiologic Technologist. Rotating day/midnight shifts with weekend call every 6 weeks and 1–2 holidays per year. $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

ARRT registration and Delaware license required; 3 years' experience and 2-year Radiology Tech program completion expected. Position includes expertise in radiographic procedures, equipment, and contrast management, with opportunities to train staff and utilize

Qualifications

• ARRT registered or eligible for registration in radiology.
• Completion of a two-year Radiology Technology program.
• Delaware state licensure or eligibility required.
• Minimum 3 years' staff technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage radiology software and information systems.
• Assist in clinical training of staff and students.
• Perform complex radiographic procedures (neuro, trauma, ortho, general, vascular).
• Operate C-Arms, portable X-ray, intra-op and HVIS systems.
• Support room setup, navigation instrumentation, and O-Arm integration.

ChristianaCare Newark Campus Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Full Time Flex Radiologic Technologist, rotating day/midnight shifts. This position will work every 6th weekend and every third holiday.

$5,000.00 sign on bonus for eligible candidates!!!

Shift:

• 8:00am - 4:30pm. four days a week. Average of (1) 11:00pm-7:00 a.m. call shift per week.
• 1 weekend call every 6 weeks, and 1-2 Holidays per year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Content level expert of radiographic equipment, knowledge, and proficiency in troubleshooting.
• Content level expert of radiology supported computer and software systems.
• Supports and assistance in clinical training of staff and students.
• Assists and demonstrates complex knowledge and proficiency in the use of procedural radiographic specific
• equipment to include:
• Various onsite C-Arms
• Neuro, Trauma, Ortho, General, Urology, and Vascular Procedures
• Portable X-Ray Machines
• Intra-op, PACU, and HVIS use
• Vascular Hybrid Room
• Room operation and trouble shooting.
• *Operation of the contrast power injector.
• *Knowledge of different contrast mediums.
• *Procedural competence in performing: Endografts, Angiography, Cardiac, and Trauma Applications.
• Spine and Pelvic Stealth Navigation Console
• *The setup and integration with the O-Arm.
• *Recognition of all navigation instrumentation and their function.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 years' experience as a staff technologist.
• Completion of two-year program in Radiology Technology is required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• ARRT registered
• Delaware State License

This position pays $35.39 to $48.66. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
