ChristianaCare Newark Campus Radiology Department is seeking a Full Time Flex Radiologic Technologist. The role involves rotating day/midnight shifts, with weekend and holiday call commitments. You will work with a range of radiographic equipment and contribute to staff training while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Requirements include 3 years in radiology, a two-year radiology program, ARRT registration, and a Delaware license. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Responsabilidades

• Content level expert of radiographic equipment, knowledge, and proficiency in troubleshooting.
• Content level expert of radiology supported computer and software systems.
• Supports and assistance in clinical training of staff and students.
• Assists and demonstrates complex knowledge and proficiency in the use of procedural radiographic specific equipment.
• Operate onsite C-Arms for Neuro, Trauma, Ortho, General, Urology, and Vascular Procedures.
• Use Portable X-Ray Machines in various settings including intra-op and PACU.
• Manage HVIS and Vascular Hybrid Room equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Operate contrast power injector and understand contrast mediums.
• Perform Endografts, Angiography, Cardiac and Trauma applications.
• Work with Spine and Pelvic Stealth Navigation Console and O-Arm integration.

The ChristianaCare Newark Campus Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Full Time Flex Radiologic Technologist, rotating day/midnight shifts. This position will work every 6th weekend and every third holiday.

$5,000.00 sign on bonus for eligible candidates!!!

Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm. four days a week. Average of (1) 11:00pm-7:00 a.m. call shift per week. 1 weekend call every 6 weeks, and 1-2 Holidays per year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Content level expert of radiographic equipment, knowledge, and proficiency in troubleshooting.
• Content level expert of radiology supported computer and software systems.
• Supports and assistance in clinical training of staff and students.
• Assists and demonstrates complex knowledge and proficiency in the use of procedural radiographic specific
• equipment to include:
• Various onsite C-Arms
• Neuro, Trauma, Ortho, General, Urology, and Vascular Procedures
• Portable X-Ray Machines
• Intra-op, PACU, and HVIS use
• Vascular Hybrid Room
• Room operation and trouble shooting.
• Operation of the contrast power injector.
• Knowledge of different contrast mediums.
• Procedural competence in performing: Endografts, Angiography, Cardiac, and Trauma Applications.
• Spine and Pelvic Stealth Navigation Console
• The setup and integration with the O-Arm.
• Recognition of all navigation instrumentation and their function.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

3 years' experience as a staff technologist.

Completion of two-year program in Radiology Technology is required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

ARRT registered

Delaware State License

This position pays $35.39 to $48.66. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
