Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Newark Hospital Imaging Department is seeking a Part-Time Radiologic Technologist to work the day shift. The role requires ARRT eligibility, an associate degree in Radiology, and DE licensure. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates, with hourly pay range $33.43-$53.48.

The position includes ED and portable coverage, proficiency with PACS and Digital Radiography, and a flexible schedule (48 hrs bi-weekly, every 4th weekend, every other holiday).

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science.
• ARRT Registered Technologist required.
• Delaware license required.
• Certification in CPR.

Responsibilities

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment.
• Developing and identifying radiographs with proper identification of film, date and time.
• Covering the Emergency Department (ED) & Portables.
• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems.
• Operating equipment including Phillips.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
• Developing and identifying radiographs, which includes proper identification of film, date and time

• ARRT Registered Technologist required

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
