Job summary

Advocate Health's St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a high‑performing team. The role performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manages patient records, and ensures radiation safety.

The position is full‑time first shift, with weekend, holiday and call rotation. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine, ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification and BLS, typically 2 years of experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• ARRT Nuclear Medicine Tech (N) or NMTCB CNMT with BLS within 6 months.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine.
• Typically 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience.
• Advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently performs basic to advanced nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Reviews patient records and orders to ensure exam accuracy.
• Injects radiopharmaceuticals observing proper venipuncture and radiation safety.
• Labels and dispenses Nuclear Pharmacy drugs per physician prescription.
• Maintains records in radiology information system and documents billing codes.
• Performs equipment QA tests and calibrations; reports malfunctions.
• Serves as a resource and preceptor for staff and students.
