Mercy Health's Imaging Center in Wakeman is seeking a Radiological Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under an authorized user, ensuring safety and quality in every exam.

The role requires ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology, Ohio licensure preferred, BLS at hire in some locations, and about 1 year of experience in radiation safety and patient care. Familiarity with EPIC EHR and PACS is a plus. Mercy Health offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Associates degree from ARRT-accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
• State licensure (preferred).
• BLS certification at hire for some locations; preferred prior to patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain patient history and order lab work for licensed practitioner.
• Position and immobilize patient for best imaging.
• Apply radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Perform radiographic procedures using imaging equipment.
• Verify consent and complete pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopy and aseptic techniques.
• Perform timeouts per policy.
• Prepare and/or administer medications or contrast as prescribed.
