Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures for patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist. This role emphasizes independent judgment to adapt procedures for specific diagnostic results while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Required ARRT registration, BLS, and Illinois IEMA licensure with relevant radiologic technology education. Sign-on and relocation bonuses may be available as part of the recruitment effort.

Qualifications

• Certifications: Registered in Radiography (R) - ARRT
• BLS within 30 days - AHA
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - IEMA
• Education: Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology
• Associate’s Degree: Radiologic Technology

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately and according to guidelines.
• Exhibits competency and acts as resource for staff during procedures.
• Ensure correct views, image quality, and patient identification.
• Maintain patient comfort and radiation protection.
• Troubleshoot equipment and maintain clean, stocked work areas.
• Participate in QA/QC processes and department workflows.
