Qualifications

• Registration in Radiography (R) with ARRT certification.
• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - IEMA.
• Education: Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Related field work experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately within department guidelines and standards.
• Becomes a resource on radiographic views, proper filters, collimation, markers and patient ID.
• Maintain patient comfort and radiation protection during procedures.
• Ensure efficient patient care and equipment operation; troubleshoot when needed.
• Keep a clean workspace, stock supplies and verify room accessories.
• Assist with lab tests as appropriate.
