Job summary

Carle Health seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology across age groups under radiologist supervision. You will adapt procedures for optimal imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT radiography certification, BLS, and an Illinois IEMA license with related radiologic technology education. Expect a collaborative, quality-focused department with strong patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Certified in Radiography by ARRT and BLS within 30 days.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA).
• Certificate or Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately per guidelines and standards.
• Serves as resource person for staff during radiographic procedures and ensures correct views.
• Maintains radiation safety, shielding, and patient comfort during procedures.
• Prepares and processes images and paperwork for timely reporting.
• Maintains HIS/PACS data entry and supports QA/QC programs.
