Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital, located near Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures in multiple settings including inpatient, ER, and OR. You will guide patients with compassion and operate advanced radiography equipment ensuring radiation safety.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography credential are required.
• Florida Department of Radiation Control Florida License is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures following radiologist protocols in patients across settings (inpatient, ER, OR, portable).
• Guide patients through imaging procedures with compassion and confidence.
• Operate radiography equipment and administer contrast while ensuring radiation safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and care team to support efficient workflows and quality outcomes.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing Imaging Procedures following regulatory agency requirements and Radiologist protocols on patients in a variety of settings to include inaptients, Rehab, Emergency Room (ER), portables, and Operating Room (OR) as needed.

• Guiding patients through imaging procedures with compassion, comfort, and confidence

• Operating advanced radiography equipment and administering contrast media while ensuring radiation safety

• Collaborating with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to support smooth workflows and excellent patient outcomes

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (ARRT-R) Radiography

• Florida Department of Radiation Control Florida License
