Qualifications

• BCLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential.
• Associate degree in related field.

• Perform radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation per ALARA standards.
• Administer intravenous diagnostic contrast agents.
• Regulate equipment to expose x-ray film and develop films.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards. Administers intravenous diagnostic contrast agents, regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and organizes films.
