Hometown Urgent Care is seeking a dependable X-Ray Technician to join our outpatient radiology team. This role involves performing routine X-ray exams, supporting providers, and traveling between multiple clinic sites to deliver mobile radiology services.

The position emphasizes a low-stress clinical environment with no surgeries and no fluoroscopy, focusing on compassionate patient care and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Active RT or GXMO certification required.
• 1–2 years of clinic experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to travel locally between designated sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard radiographic exams as ordered by providers—no fluoroscopy or advanced imaging required.
• Travel between Easton, Morse Rd, Clime Rd, Hilliard, Lancaster, Groveport, Canal Winchester clinics to provide mobile X-ray services.
• Assist with basic patient intake: history, vitals, and registration.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms.
• Ensure proper function and cleanliness of X-ray equipment; report issues promptly.
• Log and document X-ray procedures accurately.
• Support a positive patient experience with clear communication and compassionate care.
• Occasionally train new team members and assist in light clinical flow tasks

We are seeking a dependable and professionalX-Ray Technicianto join our friendly, fast-paced team. This is alow-stress clinical positionwithno surgeries, no fluoroscopic exams,and no hospital environment. As part of our outpatient urgent care setting, you'll support providers by performing routine diagnostic X-rays and helping ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for every patient.

Duties:

• Perform standard radiographic exams as ordered by providers—no fluoroscopy or advanced imaging required
• Travel between our Easton and Morse Rd or Clime Rd and Hilliard or Lancaster/Groveport/Canal Winchester clinics to provide mobile X-ray services
• Assist with basic patient intake: history, vitals, and registration
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms
• Ensure proper function and cleanliness of X-ray equipment; report issues promptly

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while being a team player
• Basic EMR/computer skills
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between designated sites
