Job summary

Hometown Urgent Care in Ohio is seeking a dependable X-Ray Technician to join our patient-focused, low-stress outpatient team. This role involves performing routine radiographs and supporting providers in a fast-paced clinic environment.

You will travel between Easton, Morse Rd, Clime Rd, Hilliard, and other local clinics to provide mobile X-ray services, maintain equipment, assist with patient intake, and train new staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RT or GXMO certification is required.
• 1–2 years of clinic or physician practice experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard radiographic exams as ordered by providers.
• Travel between clinics to provide mobile X-ray services.
• Assist with basic patient intake: history, vitals, and registration.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms.
• Ensure proper function and cleanliness of X-ray equipment; report issues promptly.
• Log and document X-ray procedures accurately.
• Support a positive patient experience with clear communication and compassionate care.
• Occasionally train new team members and assist in light clinical flow tasks.

We are seeking a dependable and professionalX-Ray Technicianto join our friendly, fast-paced team. This is alow-stress clinical positionwithno surgeries, no fluoroscopic exams,and no hospital environment. As part of our outpatient urgent care setting, you'll support providers by performing routine diagnostic X-rays and helping ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for every patient.

Duties:

• Perform standard radiographic exams as ordered by providers—no fluoroscopy or advanced imaging required
• Travel between our Easton and Morse Rd or Clime Rd and Hilliard or Lancaster/Groveport/Canal Winchester clinics to provide mobile X-ray services
• Assist with basic patient intake: history, vitals, and registration
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms
• Ensure proper function and cleanliness of X-ray equipment; report issues promptly
• Log and document X-ray procedures accurately
• Support a positive patient experience with clear communication and compassionate care
• Occasionally train new team members and assist in light clinical flow tasks

• Active RT or GXMO certification (required)
• 1-2 years of experience in a clinic or physician practice preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while being a team player
• Basic EMR/computer skills
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between designated sites
