Job summary

Hometown Urgent Care in Ohio is seeking a dependable X-Ray Technician to join our outpatient team. This role focuses on routine radiographic exams, mobility between clinics, patient comfort, and accurate documentation. The position requires active RT or GXMO certification, 1–2 years clinic experience, CPR, and willingness to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Active RT or GXMO certification (required).
• 1–2 years of experience in a clinic or physician practice preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.
• Basic EMR/computer skills.
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between designated sites.
• A calm, flexible, service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard radiographic exams as ordered by providers—no fluoroscopy or advanced imaging required
• Travel between our Easton and Morse Rd or Clime Rd and Hilliard or Lancaster/Groveport/Canal Winchester clinics to provide mobile X-ray services
• Assist with basic patient intake: history, vitals, and registration
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms
• Ensure proper function and cleanliness of X-ray equipment; report issues promptly
• Log and document X-ray procedures accurately
• Support a positive patient experience with clear communication and compassionate care
• Occasionally train new team members and assist in light clinical flow tasks
