Job summary

Hometown Urgent Care is seeking a dependable X-Ray Technician to join our outpatient radiology team. This is a low-stress clinical position focused on patient care and smooth workflow, with no surgeries or hospital environment.

You will perform standard radiographic exams, travel between multiple local clinics to provide mobile X-ray services, assist with patient intake, maintain clean exam rooms, and document procedures accurately.

Qualifications

• Active RT or GXMO certification required.
• 1–2 years of clinic experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• CPR certification current or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between designated sites.
• Calm, flexible, service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard radiographic exams as ordered; no fluoroscopy.
• Travel between Easton and Morse Rd or Clime Rd and Hilliard or Lancaster/Groveport/Canal Winchester clinics to provide mobile X-ray services.
• Assist with basic patient intake: history, vitals, and registration.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms.
• Ensure proper function and cleanliness of X-ray equipment; report issues promptly.
• Log and document X-ray procedures accurately.
• Support a positive patient experience with clear communication and compassionate care.
• Occasionally train new team members and assist in light clinical flow tasks.

As part of our outpatient urgent care setting, you’ll support providers by performing routine diagnostic X-rays and helping ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for every patient.

Duties:

• Travel between our Easton and Morse Rd or Clime Rd and Hilliard or Lancaster/Groveport/Canal Winchester clinics to provide mobile X-ray services
• Assist with basic patient intake: history, vitals, and registration
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms
• Ensure proper function and cleanliness of X-ray equipment; report issues promptly
