Hometown Urgent Care & Occupational Health is seeking a dependable X-Ray Technician to join our outpatient radiology team. This low-stress clinical position involves performing routine diagnostic X-rays and supporting providers to ensure a smooth, patient-centered experience in our fast-paced environment.

The role requires active RT certification, clinic experience, and the ability to travel locally between Troy, Sidney, and Piqua locations.

Qualifications

• Active RT certification required.
• 1–2 years of clinic or physician practice experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.
• Basic EMR/computer skills.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally between sites.
• Calm, flexible, service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard radiographic exams as ordered by providers—no fluoroscopy or advanced imaging required.
• Assist with basic patient intake: history, vitals, and registration.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms.
• Ensure proper function and cleanliness of X-ray equipment; report issues promptly.
• Log and document X-ray procedures accurately.
• Support a positive patient experience with clear communication and compassionate care.
• Occasionally train new team members and assist in light clinical flow tasks.

Overview

Are you looking for a more relaxed, patient-focused radiology role—without the stress of surgery or complex imaging procedures? We are seeking a dependable and professional X-Ray Technician to join our friendly, fast-paced team. This is a low-stress clinical position with no surgeries, no fluoroscopic exams, and no hospital environment. As part of our outpatient urgent care setting, you'll support providers by performing routine diagnostic X-rays and helping ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for every patient.

This position would float between Troy, Sidney and Piqua clinics

Duties
