Hometown Urgent Care & Occupational Health is seeking an X-Ray Technician to join our outpatient clinics. This is a low-stress clinical position, focusing on routine radiographic exams and patient comfort, without surgeries or fluoroscopy.

The role supports providers and maintains efficient patient flow in a fast-paced, positive environment. The ideal candidate holds an active RT certification, 1–2 years of clinic experience, CPR certification, and reliable transportation to travel locally

Qualifications

• Active RT certification is required.
• 1–2 years of clinic/physician practice experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between Troy, Sidney and Piqua sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard radiographic exams as ordered by providers.
• Assist with basic patient intake including history and vitals.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and ensure equipment cleanliness.
• Document X-ray procedures accurately and log appropriately.
• Support positive patient experience through clear communication and compassionate care.
• Occasionally train new team members and assist in light clinical tasks.

Overview

Are you looking for a more relaxed, patient-focused radiology role—without the stress of surgery or complex imaging procedures? We are seeking a dependable and professional X-Ray Technician to join our friendly, fast-paced team. This is a low-stress clinical position with no surgeries, no fluoroscopic exams, and no hospital environment. As part of our outpatient urgent care setting, you'll support providers by performing routine diagnostic X-rays and helping ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for every patient.

This position would float between Troy, Sidney and Piqua clinics

Duties

• Perform standard radiographic exams as ordered by providers—no fluoroscopy or advanced imaging required
• Assist with basic patient intake: history, vitals, and registration
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms
• Ensure proper function and cleanliness of X-ray equipment; report issues promptly
• Log and document X-ray procedures accurately
• Support a positive patient experience with clear communication and compassionate care
• Occasionally train new team members and assist in light clinical flow tasks

Requirements

• Active RT certification (required)
• 1-2 years of experience in a clinic or physician practice preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while being a team player
• Basic EMR/computer skills
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
