Job summary

CareNow is hiring a Radiologic Technologist - Medical Assistant to join our urgent care team in a fast-paced setting. You will perform imaging, vital signs, EKGs, injections and MA tasks, while assisting with check-in/check-out and chart audits.

Applicants should be ARRT-certified with a radiologic program background, BLS, and state licensure if required. Join a supportive network within HCA Healthcare's CareNow clinics.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
• GMRT license in state of residency if required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs and IM injections.
• Perform all x-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain records of in-house and sent-out lab work.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
