Job summary

Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray imaging for diagnostic purposes under the direction of the Radiologist.

You will operate a variety of imaging equipment, obtain patient history, explain procedures, ensure safety, and maintain equipment. Required NJ RT license, ARRT, and BLS; preferred HC facility experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Operates imaging equipment, including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School
