Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking RT Assistant NDT Assistants in Beaumont, TX to support calibrations, non-destructive testing and evaluation following written instructions.

The role involves setting up NDT equipment, assisting radiographers, and recording results to determine accept/reject decisions. Qualified candidates will have the required radiation safety training, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a practical background in NDT.

Qualifications

• 40-Hours Radiation Safety Training required.
• RT State card is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Technical background desired.
• Background check required.
• Driving record must meet company standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures and carry equipment.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
