Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking Nested NDT Assistants to support calibrations, nondestructive testing, and evaluations for acceptance decisions under written instructions and record results.

Responsibilities include setting up and using NDT equipment, assisting Radiographers with calibration, performing tests to detect discontinuities, recording results, and supporting NDT procedures. A thorough background check is required, and driving record must meet company standards for vehicle

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Some college preferred.
Technical background desired.
Background check required to verify trustworthiness and compliance with regulations.
Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Set up and utilize NDT equipment.
Assist Radiographers in calibrating NDT equipment.
Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
Record results of inspections.
Assist performing NDT procedures and carry equipment.
Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
