Job summary

Acuren is seeking a State Carded Trainer RT Assistant to assist in performing calibrations, NDTs, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

This role involves setting up NDT equipment, assisting Radiographers, and carrying out tests to detect discontinuities, recording results, and performing related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• RT State Card with Trainer status is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college is preferred.
• Technical background is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
