Job summary

Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital Niles seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to orders. You will prepare patients, verify details, and ensure equipment readiness at shift start and end.

Responsibilities include ALARA-based imaging, contrast administration oversight, equipment maintenance, and delivering high-quality images for permanent records while following department protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) certification required.
• BLS certification: AHA or ARC within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs general diagnostic radiological and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Ensures patient safety using ALARA and immobilization techniques.
• Prepares and administers contrast agents with monitoring and allergy checks.
• Maintains imaging equipment and performs quality assurance tasks.
• Verifies patient identification and orders; files images to PACS.
• Works under supervision and follows established protocols.
