Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform cross-sectional CT imaging, processing, and related duties to aid diagnosis and treatment. You will ensure patient care, maintain equipment readiness, and support staff as needed.

The role requires 2 years of CT experience and ARRT CT/Radiography certifications with BLS; on-hire certifications are expected. The site is Lakeland Hospital Niles, MI, with full-time shifts and a commitment to safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent required; 2 years CT experience required
• Preferred Bachelor's degree
• ARRT Radiographer (R) or equivalent certification required on hire
• ARRT CT certification required on hire
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Verifies patients’ clinical history and documentation for practitioner
• Prepares patients for procedures and provides instructions to gain cooperation
• Operates CT equipment and selects proper technical factors
• Prepares/ administers contrast media per protocol
• Evaluates images for technical quality and uploads to PACS
• Schedules patients for procedures
• Works under minimal supervision and may mentor staff
• Maintains a clean work environment and reports equipment issues

Education

Associate's Degree or equivalent in related field

Bachelor's Degree preferred
