Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate imaging equipment, position patients, and perform radiographic procedures with care for safety and accuracy. You will document in EMR/PACS and ensure rooms are ready for procedures.

The role requires knowledge of imaging techniques, infection control, and strong communication with diverse patients and staff. Prior radiology experience or new graduate eligibility is noted.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Diagnostic Radiology procedures and safety practices.
• One year post-certification experience preferred or new graduate accepted.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and radiology software such as EPIC and PACS.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients and staff.
• Move and position radiographic equipment for procedures safely.
• Perform direct patient care within technologist scope, monitor patient condition.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready; perform equipment safety checks.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS systems.
• Assist patients during procedures while ensuring comfort and privacy.
• Cross-train into advanced modalities as needed.
