Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, portable x‑rays, and surgery imaging per physician orders. The role ensures equipment readiness at shift start and end and maintains patient safety through shielding and proper technique.

Responsibilities include selecting proper machine settings based on patient characteristics, preparing patients, and producing high-quality images for PACS.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in radiologic technology.
• 2 years of radiology experience preferred.
• ARRT CRT - Radiographer certification on hire.
• BLS certification (AHA) on hire and ARC 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures with standardized positioning.
• Produce x-ray images as directed by physician or radiologist.
• Verify orders and prepare patients for procedures.
• Protect patients from radiation exposure using shields and safety practices.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; document results.
