Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist at Lakeland Hospital St Joseph in St Joseph, MI, for night shifts from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

This role coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to ALARA principles. You will receive and execute physicians' orders, prep patients, monitor contrast administration, maintain equipment, verify identities, and document findings for PACS.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent in radiologic technology or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) certification optional/preferred (ARRT).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology and fluoroscopic procedures adhering to ALARA principles.
• Produce X-ray images as directed by physician.
• Protect patients from radiation exposure using lead shields and safety practices.
• Prepare and assist with contrast administration; monitor dosage and allergies.
• Maintain imaging equipment and assist with quality assurance.
• Verify patient identity and orders; document appropriately.
• Prepare patients and provide instructions to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Verify patient history is documented for the licensed practitioner.
• Evaluate image quality and upload to PACS with proper identification.

Education

Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
