Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality X-ray imaging for diagnostic purposes under the direction of the Radiologist. The role includes preparing and maintaining patient records and ensuring safety and comfort during procedures.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. Prior healthcare facility experience is preferred, with 0–3 years in radiography advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
