Job summary

Morgan Murphy Media in Spokane, WA is seeking a Full-time Radio Promotions and Events Assistant to coordinate prizes, contests, and events across its seven radio properties. You will support the Programming and Sales teams and help plan promotions that benefit listeners and clients.

You will manage event calendars, prepare contest rules, and assist with on-site setup and prize fulfillment, while maintaining organization and strong communication across departments; flexibility for evenings,

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with all departments in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve, multitask and work efficiently under deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Experience navigating company web-based systems.
• Must be 21+ and able to work flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events and contests for radio stations across seven properties.
• Maintain timely, effective communication with all departments.
• Assist with on-air, social media and website contests and updates.
• Meet with clients and sellers to plan events and logistics.
• Maintain the station event calendar and prize inventory.
• Prepare contest rules, waivers and release forms.
• Assist with on-site remote setups and prize distribution.
• Handle prize fulfillment and office administration tasks.
• Organize promo materials and station merchandise.
• Assist with other promotion tasks as assigned.
