Job summary

Hot Radio Maine is seeking a Marketing Specialist to focus on sales and advertising in the Portland/Bangor area. You will drive sponsorships, marketing opportunities, and traditional and non-traditional avenues in a fast-paced environment with aggressive commissions.

You’ll identify opportunities, develop results-based strategies, and service clients from concept to execution while aiming to hit billing goals set by management. Nights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must understand the Hot Radio Maine brand and the listener lifestyle.
• Must be able to work independently but also in a TEAM environment.
• Must love to sell and be results oriented.
• Radio Sales or Outside Sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to use the Hot Radio Maine brand for local businesses.
• Develop results-based marketing strategies and promotional opportunities for clients.
• Service clients from idea to execution.
• Reach monthly, quarterly and yearly billing goals.
• Effectively communicate goals and strategies with station management.
• Prospect and develop new business constantly.
