Corewell Health seeks a Radiation Therapist to join the Reed City Radiation Oncology team. The role operates CT simulators, delivers and verifies treatment courses, and records daily activities, under supervision of a Radiation Oncologist.

The ideal candidate has ARRT CRT certification, BLS certification within specified windows, and training in radiation therapy. The position is full-time with daytime shifts in Reed City, Michigan.

About Outpatient Clinics

Scope of work

Under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, uses clinical skills to accurately run CT simulators, deliver, verify and record routine courses of treatment. Assumes shift accountability including machine warm-ups. Utilizes independent judgment and problem solving skills in communicating with patients/families and employees.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical a related field
• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field preferred
• CRT-Radiation Therapist - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist within 60 Days required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross required within first 90 days
