Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure.
• Current Washington State RN license or NLC multistate license (MSL).
• BLS certification required with renewal every two years.
• Oncology experience optional but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assesses physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of patients.
• Develops a care plan based on disease, symptoms and response to treatment.
• Educates patients and families on disease processes and treatments.
• Coordinates with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Refers to social work, home health, nutrition, and other resources as needed.
• Implements, evaluates and adjusts the plan of care.
• Integrates research and evidence into clinical practice.
