Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold current Washington State RN license or NLC multistate license with WA as primary state.
• Current BLS for Health Care Providers certification required.
• Additional department-specific certification may be required.
• Oncology nursing experience or additional training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, emotional and social needs and plan care.
• Educate patients and families on disease, treatment, side effects and symptom management.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Document assessments and plans in a timely manner.
• Participate in daily rounds and clinical care planning.
• Support research and coordinate consent forms as needed.
