RWJBarnabas Health's Radiation Oncology team in New Brunswick, NJ seeks a Registered Nurse for the Per Diem (PD) position in the Day shift. The RN will coordinate with the office, ensure ARIA data is complete before consults and follow-up visits, and collaborate with physicians to ensure orders are written, signed, and carried out per policy.

The role requires BSN, oncology nursing experience, and NJ RN licensure with BLS. Per Diem schedule offers day shifts, weekdays and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• 2 years oncology nursing experience.
• 1 year radiation oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and verify that all relevant clinical information is obtained and available in Radiation Oncology ARIA prior to consults and follow-up visits.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure follow-up orders are written, carried out, and signed off per RWJ Hospital and Department of Radiation Oncology policy.
• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice and ensure safety and adherence to ethical standards.
