Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a full-time Radiation Oncology physicist to join our Peoria, Illinois team. The role focuses on comprehensive clinical physics support for external beam, brachytherapy, SRS, and SBRT with leadership in QA and safety.

ABR certification and IEMA license are required, along with a Master’s or PhD in Physics. Partial remote work may be considered for those within driving distance, with relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Physics or related field is required.
• ABR Certification in Therapeutic Radiologic Physics is required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiation Therapy (IEMA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical physics support for external beam, brachytherapy, SRS, and SBRT.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements (IEMA, NRC, ACR, DNV).
• Oversee QA programs, calibration, commissioning, and ongoing quality assurance of equipment.
