Job summary
Advocate Health is seeking a Part-time Medical Physics support professional at Atrium Health Cabarrus in the Oncology: Radiation department. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Radiation Therapy, or related field.
- Proficient use of MS Excel and Word.
- Experience with coding and/or programming highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Serves as an assistive resource for the medical physics team in simulation, treatment planning, and delivery.
- Assists with commissioning and acceptance testing tasks.
- Provides assistance to medical physicists with troubleshooting and maintenance for equipment.
- Performs quality assurance procedures and records.
- Travel regionally to various centers to conduct responsibilities.
- Adheres to radiation safety protocols and policies.
