Job summary

Advocate Health's Cabarrus campus (Atrium Health Cabarrus) Oncology: Radiation department is looking for a part-time Medical Physics support role. 24 hours per week with pay range $35.50–$53.25 per hour.

The assistant will support the medical physics team in simulation, planning, delivery, QA, and data entry for trials and registries. Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Physics or related fields, and proficiency with MS Excel/Word; coding experience is highly desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Radiation Therapy, or related field.
• Proficient use of MS Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical physics team with simulation, treatment planning, treatment delivery, QA, and patient-specific QA.
• Assist with commissioning and acceptance testing tasks.
• Support problem-solving and maintenance for simulation, planning, and delivery equipment.
• Perform quality assurance procedures and maintain documentation on time.
• Travel regionally to centers within the network to perform duties.
